"Mr. Ouie Hedgehog"  Is one of those fellows that you really don't want to bump into. The long spines, which are generally three inches or more, dance in the sunlight, but pack quite a sting. Mr. Owie is a 24 z 24 x 2 gallery wrapped canvas. This painting is shown at the The Finer Arts Gallery in Cave Creek. Hedgehogs are native to the Sonoran Desert and seem to prefer a spot where the sun shines most of the day. $1,800

"Saguaro Big Guys"  are often the home of many bird species and is a favorite among woodpeckers and flickers. The spines, which are generally  an inch or more, form lines down the ridges and glow in the sunlight. Big Guys is a 24 x 24 x 2 gallery wrapped canvas. This painting is in my studio. Saguaros are native to the Sonoran Desert and seem to prefer the sun. The little tuffs at the tops grow during the spring and flowers will bloom from the tops or end of each arm.  $1800.

"Mesquite Bramble"   The branches begin as thorn like arms that twist and tangle creating a thicket. The Bramble  is a 12 x 12 x 2 gallery wrapped canvas. Mesquites are native to the Sonoran Desert and seem to prefer the sun.

"Agave Americana"   is a large painting 24 x 36 x 2 on gallery wrapped canvas. 

This painting is SOLD.  The drought over the past year resulted in many of this beautiful species dying for lack or moisture. $2,800

Left to Right - Texas Sage, which loves the Sonoran Desert sun, went to a collector in Cave Creek.  Flowers in a Field 24 x 36 also found a home in Scottsdale. The painting "Spring Blooms," a 30 x 30, which won two international Botanical Painting Awards,  is proudly displayed in the home of a Phoenix collector.
